Over nearly two decades, Sound City has been a hub of creativity and opportunity, and we pride ourselves on being a gateway into the music industry. We’ve have had the privilege of working with many volunteers, who are the backbone of our festival.

Volunteers who have worked on previous Sound City events have gone on to work at companies including: Umbro, Manchester International Festival, Bluepeg, Ditto Music, Field Day, V Festival, Green Man, Snowbombing, Outlook (Croatia), Sunday Best Recordings, Notting Hill Music, Nintendo, Tileyard Music, Glastonbury, Festival Number 6, United Talent Group, Sentric, Coda Agency, The Olympics, Sound City, Atlantic Records, Warner Brothers Entertainment, Modern Sky UK and many more.

Volunteers are given a free ticket to enjoy the festival and we offer a full reference and advice provided you’ve fulfilled your roles over the three days of the conference and festival.
