LAUNCH TRAINING
LAUNCH Training is our exclusive 10-week course, and the perfect way to expand your knowledge of the music industry and take your first steps towards your career in music.
The LAUNCH Training Programme offers a wide range of industry insights into musical performance, production, music business and more. Weekly sessions, led by our expert mentors, guide trainees through the immersive programme, sharing their extensive knowledge of all corners of the music industry and offering constant feedback and support.
The programme is completely free and acts as a fantastic alternative to university or other paid forms of higher education for people of all backgrounds. We especially welcome applications from people under-represented in the music industry; this includes those from working class backgrounds, people with caring responsibilities, those living with disabilities, people from Global Majority backgrounds and people in the LBGTQ+ community. This list is not exhaustive - if you feel like you don’t have a visible role model in the industry, we want to hear from you.
Past trainees have gone on to perform worldwide tours, play at Reading and Leeds Festival and establish careers at Spotify, BBC and Nintendo! If you are aged between 16 and 24 and feel like you are ready to launch your career in the music industry, make sure to apply to be part of our next wave of trainees when applications open again.
Successful applications are eligible for a £750 one-off payment to support artistic practice, or a 4 week paid work placement in the industry paid at the National Living Wage (paid at 25+ rate regardless of age).
