Blackburn born, Violet Youth have come a long way in a very short time. Establishing
themselves as local rockstars, they have since featured on BBC Introducing Lancashire, ‘Best
new acts of 2017’ (Get Into This) as well as an upcoming tour of China and its festivals. All of
this by the tender age of 19, they are quickly establishing a reputation as one of Lancashire’s
bands to watch. Creating their own sonic landscapes of deep, dark and melancholic ambience
they have drawn comparisons to The Cure & The Smiths, showing huge promise for powering
through to the next round of Pirate Studios music development programme, Pirate Prodgies.
