Firstly we are based in the historic Cain's Brewery Courtyard, with easy access to a Spanish Tapas Bar, wonderful cafe and a fabulous vintage/antique emporium, how many other venues have all that!
And if that's not enough, our programme; as usual we will have our award winning life drawing alongside, poetry, acoustic performances, spoken word, busking and some surprise guests plus a performance each day of the original urban artist Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart!! Yes, Flat Pack Music will be performing an Opera for your delight! They will be bringing Mozart's comic masterpiece of fiancee swapping, identity changing misadventures to sound City. A two hour show sang in English, unmissable. And of course the original and still the best pop-up poet, Paddy Clarke who will be roaming all the festival venues shouting his caustic views on everything from death to dancing, don't miss him!

‘Cosi Fan Tutte’
Flat Pack Music are very excited to be bringing their hilarious production of ‘Cosi Fan Tutte’ to Sound City this year. The production received rave reviews last year and had the audience crying with laughter.
The story starts in an Essex coffee bar with an old old cynic and philosopher, Don Alfonso, who bets two young men, Ferrando and Gugliemo, that their respective fiancées would not stay faithful if put to the test. The two young men accept the bet, and so the test begins...
Flat Pack Music perform in English so even if you haven't seen opera before this is a perfect opportunity to check it out and fall in love with it. Remember 'Opera's Fuckin Boss'
