Combining the infectious, visceral grooves of late 70s funk music such as Prince, Sly Stone and Funkadelic with the introspective lyricism and melodies of modern indie and contemporary R&B with of the intensity of Alt rock. Notably artists such as Allen Stone, St Vincent and Tom Misch.
By uniting separate worlds of music, Slye creates art that is original and unique but pays homage to the greats.
