Nish Goyal is a punk/folk singer-songwriter from Chester who is studying for a songwriting degree at BIMM Manchester. He has an EP and album out out and is currently releasing singles from his upcoming album ‘Under a Tree’. His most recent single release was his ”As I Am’ which has received much airplay across the UK. He is to be found gigging regularly in Manchester and Chester at places like the The Deaf Institute, Jimmy’s, Fab Cafe and The LiveRooms and has opened for Ian Prowse on his band’s 2016 tour as well as Glen Matlock on his 2016 tour.

Nish spent 2015 gigging around the UK including shows at London’s Nambucca and his first ever music festival appearance at the 2000 trees busking stage, followed by his first ever tour of the USA where he played 11 shows in 8 states including New York City and Boston. After playing numerous festivals in 2016 including Pheztival, In Bloom, Bath International Music Fest and Conwy Connect, he gigged around the UK again to popular demand whilst releasing 3 singles from his upcoming album.

Whilst at university Nish has formed a band called The Happy Nihilists and they will be gigging in the North West as well as Two Thousand Trees Festival in the summer and various gigs around the UK through the year.

Finally, Nish has booked two sets at the world famous Glastonbury Festival 2017 on the Croissant Neuf Bandstand as well as mental health festival You Are Enough in London. IN 2018, Nish plans to release his new album as well as continue gigging around the country.
