Known for her unique take on neo-soul, Mersey Wylie draws on her background in classical and jazz and infuses those influences with her love of soul. She creates every element of her music herself, from the vulnerable lyrics, to the sweeping melodies, intricate arrangements and lush harmonies, before they are brought to life by her incredible live band. In 2018 she released her debut EP, The Skin I Live In, a collection of songs that chronicle her journey with her mental health. The video for lead single “Giving Myself Away”, directed by Sam Wiehl, was premiered by Clash Magazine.
