KingFast is a singer/Songwriter whose soulful vocals and modern guitar sound have gained him much attention in the North West. Due to the demand from his fanbase he decided to record his debut EP entitled “Dream World” (in Elevator Studios – Liverpool)

In 2017 KingFast has graced Liverpool’s Threshold Festival, Liverpool Sound City +, Liverpool’s IPO Festival in the famous Cavern Club and Pub, West Kirby Live, Liverpool Rock N Roll Marathon as well as beyond Liverpool; Nantwich Jazz Festival, a headline set at Yewstock Festival, Wigan Live Festival and Off Cut Festival. In previous years he has also wowed audiences in Smithdown Road Festival supporting Alex Hulme and Edinburgh Fringe Festival amongst many other highly regarded performances. To round off 2017 KingFast was crowned winner of Merseyrail Sound Station 2017 along with a live session on Dave Monks’ BBC Introducing show.

KingFast was born in Kingston, Jamaica and raised in Belfast which is where the name stems from. There is certainly some fusion of an Afro-Caribbean vocal tone and pop music trills used popularly within UK & Irish music at play in KingFast’s work. KingFast’s spinechilling vocal range and tone has been stunning audiences regularly throughout the UK since 2012.

It is very apparent on listening to KingFast’s music that there is a fusion of several genres but seemingly most prominent is a cross between soul and pop.
