James Barton, AKA Juke, has been a songwriter and rapper/urban poet since 2008. He has extensive experience in battle rapping and has battled on one of the biggest UK leagues of its time called “Don’t Flop”. Juke is also a much-viewed artist on YouTube and has worked with channels such as Lab Tv, Word on Road, Say it & Spray it & many more.
Juke has now developed a passion for singing, rapping & songwriting in all their forms; House music, Urban, acoustic, and has basically become involved from any angle open to him. He has progressed massively in the space of a few months with a very natural voice and his work is always very catchy. This shines through with his intellectual wordplay on all his tracks and songs. He was the most viewed artist on Lab Tv Liverpool just a month back.
Juke is currently working on many projects and is soon to bring out an acoustic album & EP, a house EP, and 3 different mixtapes. One is a solo project and two are collaborations with Ill Memberz co-creator Stuie Thompson as part of its urban aspect, Incognito.
Juke is also aiming to raise his profile in a number of unexpected ways, so plan on seeing a lot of him this year.
