Doomed post-rock meets catastrophic shoegaze' - Vulture Hound

'Clever music which explores human hurt' - Louder Than War

Originally all from Blackpool, the members of Jekyll now live in Liverpool, Manchester and Blackpool and perform regularly around the North of England. Taking inspiration from a wide and eclectic pool of influences, Jekyll's music is known for its expansive, melancholic soundscapes, dynamic mood shifts and visceral intensity. Likened to artists such as Muse, Radiohead, Placebo, Smashing Pumpkins, Editors and Depeche Mode, critics and audiences love the band for their ambition, originality and professionalism.

2018 brought many fantastic opportunities to Jekyll as, immediately after stepping off stage at The Great Escape Festival, they were signed by the prestigious ‘Fierce Panda’ off the strength of their live show. Since, Jekyll have released an EP through the label, which has received a wealth of national radio play from Steve Lamacq (BBC RADIO 6), John Kennedy (Radio X) and Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1).

With recent festival appearances at The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City, Tramlines Festival, Threshold Festival and Rebellion Festival, Jekyll have proved that they have the confidence and the appeal to win over any audience. This, coupled with support slots for artists such as Vukovi, October Drift, 485C, Demob Happy, Glass Caves, and numerous sold-out shows in Manchester, is evidence that Jekyll's momentum is fierce and their immediate future is looking very bright.
