azel's music is a blend of mesmerizing electronica and hypnotic stories with world influences. Her debut album 'Gazel’s Book of Souls’ is a concept piece written from the perspective of characters that reside in the universal subconscious mind. The team working on the album includes Shuta Shinoda (Ghostpoet, Hot Chip), Haydn Bendall (Kate Bush, Massive Attack), and Roy Pfeffer.
Since 2017, Gazel has enjoyed headline shows at the The Lexington, Borderline, The Pickle Factory, The Waiting Room, and Birthdays, as well as support shows at the Shepherd's Bush Empire and the Hammersmith Apollo.
