The North West MC partnership Beyond Average has been writing material and working together as a duo since 2006. What started off as just writing lyrics to beats to entertain school and class mates, rapidly began to take its place as their main hobby. They developed a love for writing songs and their skill wasn’t going unnoticed. It wasn’t long before they were offered free studio time in ‘S.P.A.C.E’, located in Bootle, Liverpool.
Beyond Average jumped at the opportunity and started recording songs they had written and even experimenting with making their own instrumentals. This paved the way for performances at live local shows, local radio interviews, and air play, plus a growing number of listeners. Since then, they have never looked back and have carried on progressing with the quality of their lyrics and songs
