A true polymath Beija Flo is a musician who has created her own universe pulling together elements of activism, performance art and education.
Through genre bending, her sound is one that encompasses everything from open hearted balladry through to acerbic punk.
Tackling everything from love and relationships through to mental health and her struggles with MRKH syndrome, she is truly an artist for our times juxtaposing her darkest moments against moments of enduring hope.
Over the past two years, Beija has been receiving strong support within the Merseyside area from Getintothis (who called her track ‘Mary’ their track of the year’), Bido Lito ! and strong support from BBC Introducing.
She has also received strong national support from LouderThanWar and Birp! (who added her to their ‘Best of BIRP! 2009)
