We are proud to announce that we in partnership with sm-mgmt have received the Youth Music Incubator Fund for our project "Rip It Up".
Rip It Up will support Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority musicians and aspiring industry figures who are attempting to break the mold and are pushing boundaries in all music genres!
What is Rip It Up?
Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority young people face too many barriers and stereotypes when entering the music industry. Rip It Up is a 9 month programme for 5 artists and 5 aspiring industry who will learn, do, get support and be paid. They will gain a positive education experience with training from the very start and they will gain real-life, practical experience through developing their own artistic projects or through paid industry roles, along with confidence boosting mentoring to help them get to the next stage of where they want to be.
Rip It Up will inspire and support the next generation who will shape the 21st century music industry.
