Q. Where is Sound City 2020? A. Sound City 2020 will be taking place across multiple venues in the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool city centre. L1 0BW.
Q. When is Sound City 2020? A. It will take place across 1st - 3rd May 2020!
Q. Do I have to be over 18 to attend Sound City? A. Sound City is a 14+ event, all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Under 18s require proof of ID and will be issued a separate wristband. Some late night events and venues are 18+ only.
Q. What does my Sound City festival ticket get me? A. A festival ticket grants you access to all programme artists, subject to each venue’s capacity.
Q: I live/work locally and want to engage with the festival team, who do I contact? A: We have a dedicated Community Impact Team whose role it is to engage with local businesses and residents. You can either call us directly on 0151 558 0422, or drop us an email - email@example.com.
Q. Are tickets for Sound City 2020 on sale yet? A. Yes on sale now here.
Q. What does a festival ticket get you? A. A Sound City festival ticket grants you access to see all artists, subject to each venue’s capacity.
Q. Can I buy a single day ticket for Sound City? A. Yes you can buy a ticket for Saturday / Sunday here.
Q. When will my ticket be sent to me? A. Tickets will be dispatched 3-4 weeks prior to the festival. If you haven’t received your ticket 2 weeks prior to the festival please contact the ticket agent that you booked through. If you purchased via the Sound City website the ticket agent is See Tickets.
Q. I can no longer attend Sound City. Can I get a refund? A. All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
Q. I am an artist and would like to play Sound City 2020. How do I put myself forward? A. Applications are now closed. Please keep an eye out on our socials for the re-opening of the applications.
Q. I want to attend Sound City but don’t live in Liverpool! Where can I stay? A. Our official festival accommodation can now be booked here.
Q. Why don’t I have the option to get a camping ticket when I try and buy a weekend ticket? A. Sound City is a non-camping, metropolitan festival set in the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool city centre.
Q. I’d like to volunteer for Sound City 2020. How can I make this dream a reality?

At this time, Sound City is going ahead as planned. Please be assured that the safety and health of all staff and visitors, is our main priority and we are implementing recommendations and instructions appropriately. We are closely monitoring official guidance from the World Health Organisation, Public Health England, UK Government, local public health authorities and are working with event promoters and organisers as information evolves. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards any kind of sexual assault or harassment at our festival. We define sexual assault as "Any unwanted sexual act or activity". There are many different kinds of sexual violence including but not restricted to rape, sexual assault and sexual harassment. Such actions and behaviour will not be tolerated at our event and suspects of such offences will be pursued and may be ejected from the festival. We will work with the police to support investigations and charging decisions.
We will have the following support services available onsite: Sound City Welfare Area, to the right of the Main Stage on New Bird Street, inside the Medic Tent.
If something happens to you, please report it to the nearest steward or security guard or you can call 0151 558 0422 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you don’t feel comfortable reporting onsite that is completely fine, you can use that phone number and email address to report when you get home.
We take all reports incredibly seriously and will take a victim led approach to all forms of sexual assault.
