Since forming in 2014, The Villanovas have become one of the most exciting unsigned rock n’roll bands in the UK. The band where named the Blues Magazine’s “Band to Watch” in 2015 and by the Spring of 2016,The Villanovas were billed as a headline act alongside Earth Wind And Fire EXP, Gilby Clarke, and Ana Moura at the Festival Del Pitic in Hermosillo, Mexico, which garnered a crowd of 4,500
Following the band’s first international tour, a tour of Canada came soon after, including a string of festival and venue shows. Meanwhile Back in England, they broke into the spotlight of BBC Introducing, capping off an outstanding year. The bands five-track EP, “Bitter Seeds” was released in February 2017, along with a slick looking music video for the title track. This year the villanovas have been performing a number of support shows for a number of international touring acts such as; Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, Focus, Dr. Feelgood etc. thus followed by a second stint over in Canada throughout August 2017.
During the fall of the year the band are set to release a brand new single called “Fortune & Fame”. The track prior to release has already been play listed amongst a number of radio stations and notably shortlisted by Huw Stephens’ programming team at BBC radio 1
