Oslo-born rising scandi-pop star SKIA spent 2020 marking her territory in the UK music scene, releasing her debut EP Apricot as well as three singles in the following year. Growing up in Oslo, spending most of her down-time skiing in the Norwegian mountains, she draws inspiration from flying down the hills, surrounded by nature's extraordinary beauty. This exhilarating energy is reflected in SKIA’s music, from the pulsing synths and energy-driven production to her powerful harmonies. Drawing from her own experiences SKIA writes music about growing up, love and heartbreak, and confidence. Her music is always relatable and her lyrics are hard-hitting and honest.
